Banana Pancakes
These are definitely a go to pancakes on the weekend or anytime really. Initially inspired by the Healthiest Diet on the Planet by Dr. McDougal. We were looking for some whole food plant based pancakes that were also fluffy.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
Yield: 10 to 12 Pancakes.
Ingredients
- 11/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 3 Tbps of flax seed meal mixed in with the nondairy milk
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana (approximately 2 bananas)
- 1 cup of nondairy milk
- 1 cup of sparkling water
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries (optional) as a treat sprinkled chocolate chips
