Ingredients:
- 1-7/8 cups of water or chickpea broth (aquafaba) or 410 grams
- 4-2/3 cups whole wheat flour or 607 grams
- 4 tablespoons vital wheat gluten or 48 grams
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoon of salt (1 teaspoon if salted aquafaba is used)
- 2 teaspoon active dry yeast
Instructions:
- First add the water or chickpea brother into the bread machine’s pan. Place the rest of the ingredients according to the order listed. If your bread machine manufacturer recommends something else, follow it. Be careful that the yeast is separated from the liquid ingredients by creating a little well at the top of the ingredients.
- Select the quick-bake whole wheat cycle or a regular whole wheat cycle for a 2 pound loaf size. Choose desired crust colour and press start. When the bread has completed baking, remove and place on a rack and allow it to cool before slicing.
