Emeril’s Essence

I decided to post this seasoning mix as I’ll refer to it many times and how much to use in different dishes. We used to use it mainly for seasoning meaty dishes and things like calamari, but we’ve found many alternative uses for it and most recently with potato wedges. It’s pretty much a staple and I do thank Emeril when he used to be aired on Cable Television for sharing his recipes. Located in Canada, we don’t have all the availability of products as in the United States.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
